Share your story
Your story could be the one someone needs to hear.
Leaving a story you were raised in is one of the hardest things a person can do. Telling it is another act of courage. Every testimony in this archive started with a single message — and every one of them has helped someone else feel less alone.
The people who speak here are, quietly, heroes. You could be one of them.
StartWho can share
You can share your story if you are Israeli (or grew up in Israel) and you:
- left Israel and no longer identify with Zionism,
- stayed in Israel but broke with Zionism, or
- are somewhere in between, and want to talk about it.
There is no “right” story. Doubts, contradictions and unfinished journeys are welcome.
How it works
- You write to us. A few lines are enough. Use the form below or write to us by email.
- We confirm your case. A short, confidential conversation to verify who you are and your history. Nothing is published at this stage.
- We interview you. In writing, by audio or on camera — whatever you are comfortable with.
- You approve every word. Nothing goes online without your final approval.
- You stay in control. You can ask us to change or remove your testimony at any time.
Your safety comes first
You choose how you appear:real name, pseudonym or fully anonymous; with or without your face; with or without your voice.
We protect identifying details. We remove or change places, dates and names that could expose you or your family.
Your messages are private. The form is encrypted. We never share your contact details with anyone.
We delete what we don’t need.Verification documents are destroyed once your case is confirmed.
Questions
Will my family or employer find out?
Only if you choose to publish under your real name. Otherwise we remove anything that could identify you.
Do I need to have left Israel?
No. Some of the most important testimonies come from people who stayed.
Do I need to be sure of everything I think now?
No. Many people are still on their way. That is part of the story.
Can I change my mind after publication?
Yes. Write to us and we will edit or remove your testimony.
Do you pay for testimonies?
No. Testimonies are voluntary, so no one can claim they were bought.
